Questions
Founding groups are forming now.
- You apply. The form takes 2-3 minutes.
- We review it. If the Forum looks like a potential fit, we’ll contact you to arrange a conversation.
- We talk. A short conversation about your role, what you’re working on and what you want from a group.
- We match you. Groups are built around comparable scope of responsibility, complementary experience and relevant problems.
- You join. Once the right group is forming, you accept your place and become a member.
If there isn’t a group that fits you today, we’ll keep you in mind as the next groups form.
Axial Forum is primarily for senior leaders responsible for AI strategy, transformation and deployment inside established organizations.
Titles vary. Members may lead AI, Data, Technology, Product, Engineering, Transformation, Governance or related functions.
The test is less about the exact title and more about the scope of the role: do meaningful AI decisions land with you?
Groups are matched around comparable levels of responsibility while deliberately bringing together different sectors, company sizes and operating environments.
No group includes two members from directly competing companies. Groups also contain only one member per company so nobody has to weigh their words in front of a colleague.
No.
Different operating environments create useful perspective. A leader inside a 1,000-person company may approach the same challenge very differently from someone inside a 20,000-person organization.
What matters more is that members carry comparable responsibility and have relevant experience to contribute.
The core of Axial Forum is a private peer group that meets monthly. You’ll build relationships with a consistent group of senior leaders facing comparable AI challenges.
Sessions combine member-led discussions, practical experience sharing and focused exploration of the questions that matter most to the group.
We’re currently refining the format through founding pilot sessions. Additional benefits, including expert workshops, private events and member research, are planned as the community grows.
Three things:
- Prioritize the sessions. Make a genuine effort to attend each month and participate fully.
- Be candid. Share your experience openly and respect the confidentiality of others.
- Contribute generously. Bring your perspective to other members’ questions as well as your own.
The quality of the group depends on what every member brings to it.
That’s fine. You don’t need a new challenge every month to benefit from the group.
Ahead of each session, members can submit questions, decisions or opportunities they’d value discussing. Selected topics shape the conversation.
Some months your issue may be the focus. Other months you’ll learn from the experiences of peers and contribute your own perspective.
Every member and facilitator agrees to the same confidentiality commitment before joining.
What’s shared in a group stays within that group unless the member concerned gives permission. Sessions aren’t recorded, transcribed or attended by AI note-taking tools.
Member identities are kept private and commercial solicitation is prohibited.
Forum conversations and member information are never used for recruitment prospecting.
Early groups are chaired by Sam Chappell, founder of Axial Forum.
As membership grows, future groups may be chaired by selected practitioners and facilitators.
Axial Forum will be a paid annual membership. Final pricing and payment options will be confirmed as the founding pilot sessions conclude.
The first 20 paid members will receive 25% off for as long as their membership remains continuous.
Applying and participating in a pilot are free and carry no obligation to join.
